John McColl is a 1981 graduate of Stanford University with a Master’s in Business Administration degree from UCLA in 1987. John has over 35 years experience in commercial real estate specializing in office and industrial finance, leasing and management. John holds a Bureau of Real Estate salesperson’s license. John is an active community volunteer serving for 20 years as a board member and real estate advisor for St. Paul’s Senior Homes, one of San Diego’s largest providers of housing and support services for low income seniors. John also is active at La Jolla High School coaching the high school football team for the past 8 years. John also played volleyball at Stanford University and is a member of the 55 and over US National Volleyball team. John has been happily married for 29 years and is the proud father of two sons.

Cole Francis is a 1980 graduate of the University of Arizona and has been licensed as a California Real Estate Broker since 1986. Cole began his Private Lending career in 1986 assisting a private investor in assessing and recommending private loan investments and working out problem loans when challenges arose. In 1991, Cole served for eighteen months as the court appointed Examiner in the $150 million Pioneer Mortgage bankruptcy case. In addition, Cole served over a five year period as a court appointed Receiver to preserve and protect real estate security for the benefit of lenders in foreclosure proceedings. Cole’s previous professional licensing includes Securities Series 7 and general contractor. Cole has also been an active community volunteer serving for eight years at Santa Fe Christian Schools and is a volunteer with the Wounded Warrior surf rehabilitation program located in Del Mar, CA. Cole has been happily married for 36 years and is the proud father of a son and two daughters.

Steve is a 1981 graduate of Stanford University where he and John McColl met as fraternity brothers. Steve has over 35 years experience in commercial real estate specializing in real estate finance, accounting and taxation. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant earning the designation in 1985 and spent six years in public accounting specializing in the audit and taxation of publicly traded real estate securities. In addition to holding a CPA License, Steve holds an AICPA Chartered General Management Account designation and is a member of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning section. Steve received the Certified Fund Manager designation from the American Association of Private Lenders and currently serves on the organization’s Education Committee. He has also been an active community volunteer having serving in various Board and Committee roles for a number of San Diego based community serving non-profits, youth and faith based organizations over the past 30 years. Steve has been happily married for 36 years and is the proud father of 3 daughters.
